About
A criminal defence practice, working in English.
We act for foreign nationals and for Turkish citizens living abroad in criminal matters across Türkiye. The file will always be in Turkish; the advice, the correspondence, the preparation of your statement and the briefing before each hearing are conducted in English, so that decisions about your case are made by you and not merely explained to you afterwards.

What we do
- Attendance in custody. Police stations, prosecutors' offices and the sulh ceza judgeship, including outside office hours.
- Defence through the investigation and trial, and on appeal to the regional court of appeal and, where the law allows, the Court of Cassation.
- Applications and objections against remand and judicial-control measures, including travel bans.
- Records work. Obtaining, reading and applying to correct or erase Turkish criminal records for people abroad.
- Cross-border matters, including extradition proceedings and INTERPOL notice applications.
How we work
Istanbul Bar
Attorneys registered with the Istanbul Bar Association, practising before the courts of Istanbul and across Türkiye.
English throughout
Advice, correspondence, statement preparation and hearing briefing in English. Interpretation in the file is checked, not assumed.
Where we go
Çağlayan, Bakırköy, Anadolu and Kartal courthouses, police stations across the city, and airport holding facilities.
Fees
An initial enquiry commits you to nothing. If the matter is one we can help with, fees are agreed in writing before any work begins, and we will tell you what is fixed and what depends on how the file develops.
If the matter does not need a lawyer, or does not need this one, we will say so. That is more useful to you than a retainer, and better for us than a file we should not have taken.
What we will not tell you
We will not predict an outcome. Anyone who does, at the first conversation, is selling something.
What we will do is tell you what stage the file is at, what decision is coming next, what the realistic range of outcomes at that decision looks like, and what actually changes it. That is a smaller promise and a more useful one.
